He`s Done What?

He`s Done What?

Earlier this week we were, supposedly, in the market for the Aston Villa defender Stephen Warnock.

Well the trail went a little cold as it became another signing that did happen.

Today, transfer deadline day, Warnock has signed for the Championship side Leeds United, with their manager Neil Warnock remarking,

'He's a player I've tried to sign a few times before and I'm pleased he turned down West Ham to come here.'

What a baffling decision we`d say!

Rather wish I wasn't a Villa fan but I am and I think you'll find the reason is geography - Houllier dropped him because he refused to move away from the north east. Instead he commuted in to Birmingham. Suspect he'll do the same at Leeds which wouldn't be an option to London! Decent player. We are mugs.
