The Diame Conundrum

I`ve no idea if Mome Diarra will still be a West Ham United player once that transfer window slams shut at 23:00 hours tonight.

This morning, the tabloid press was intimating that Spurs were destined to make a late bid for the player, activating the get-out clause which is rumoured to be closer to 7 million than the reported 3.5 million.

The inference was also there, that Diame would prefer a move to Arsenal!

However, as the day wore on, news broke that the Senegalese international could be staying and would be ending all this speculation surrounding his future by putting pen-to-paper on a new contract, possibly as early as tomorrow (Friday).
