Dan Potts Update

After witnessing those worrying scenes as Dan Potts lay stricken on the Emirates Stadium turf, we`re pleased to hear that Dan Potts is now on the mend.

It seems that the England U19 full back was released from hospital, following the head-injury scare, yesterday and is now recuperating at home.

Amongst the many well-wishers, was the FIFA President, Sepp Blatter, who tweeted,

'Best wishes & quick recovery to @DanPotts03."

Dan, now taking things a little carefully we`d imagine, has also issued a statement thanking everybody for their concern, a short statement that reads,

"A big thank you to everyone for their support and messages."

"Hopefully I am looking to feeling better over the next few days."

We`re just glad you appear to be over the worst of it Dan and, as we said yesterday, we look forward to seeing you back in a claret and blue shirt.
