Potts Suffers Nasty Injury

Potts Suffers Nasty Injury

On a night whereby we were well and truly stuffed on the pitch, we also had to witness the awful sight of young Dan Potts lying stricken on the Emirates turf.

Young Dan was knocked out cold in a collision with Bacary Sagna and there were serious concerns for his health as he was tended to by the medical staff.

Following the incident, Dan was taken to hospital for a brain scan and Sam Allardyce gave those assembled a brief statement outlining how Dan was, with the boss remarking,

"Potts has gone straight to hospital with concussion. He was unable to give correct answers to the questions. When you hit the floor like that it might be a problem, hopefully he will make a speedy recovery."

"As he lost consciousness it is a minimum of two weeks I think before he can play again. He hit the floor as a dead weight. He was able to answer questions but not in the right way."

We`d like to simply wish Dan a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing him in a West Ham shirt again, very soon.
