Diame - The Future!

The more thought you give it the more likely it seems that our Senegalese international midfielder, Mome Diame, will be off this transfer window.

Ahead of our fixture against Arsenal tonight, Arsene Wenger has admitted that he rates the player, commenting in the pre-match build-up,

"He has a great presence in the games. I`ve seen him in games where he`s had a big impact, for example against Chelsea where he had a big impact when he came on."

Furthermore, some news sources are inferring that Diame isn`t prepare dot sign a new contract deleting the clause whereby his transfer fee is fixed at 3.5 million and is threatening to take legal action if any move to Arsenal is blocked.

It`s not a very pretty state of affairs is it!
