A Top Ten Finish?

Losing in the manner in which we did, at Reading, with the Collins early error and the late miss from Vaz Te, wasn`t on our Christmas agenda.

However, as we prepare to face Norwich City in a New Year`s Day fixture, Kevin Nolan (our club captain), has the feeling this season, considering it is our first back in the Premier League, could be a memorable one.

Nolan, suspended today, has the following comments attributed to him in the media this morning,

"If we can keep everyone fit, then we can get into that top 10 and finish in there."

"The joint chairmen did some fantastic business in the last transfer window."

"They supported boss Sam Allardyce massively. There is nothing better than seeing a few new faces coming in, so hopefully that might be the case."

Is that last quote an indication that there will be some new faces this month?
