Remy Out of the Equation!

Some you win and some you lose!

Reports suggest that our reputed interest in the French striker, Loic Remy, has ended prematurely with the Marseille striker, apparently, having agreed to join the Alan Pardew orchestrated Newcastle revolution.

The press are seeing the acquisition of Remy as proof that Demba Ba is activating the clause in his contract that will see him leave for £7 million, in January.

Is it just wishful thinking to hope that Ba might be persuaded to return to the Premier League club that gave him his chance, especially with it being intimated that Andy Carroll is, having been told he has no future at Liverpool, hankering for a return to St James Park?

Or perhaps his request for a salary in the region of £90 a week immediately rules us out!
