Remember Mido

Remember Mido

Yes, of course you do!

He was the Egyptian who tried to resurrect this career, at West Ham, by agreeing to play for a minimal wage, citing money wasn`t his objective.

Sadly, it failed to work for the slightly rotund striker and his name was written into our history books a someone who offered a lot of effort but without any real class.

Well it seems that Mido`s latest venture into English football has also failed.

Apparently, he signed a one-year contract, at Barnsley but his career at Oakwell lasted al of 27 minutes.

Strangely enough, fitness concerns prevented the striker from getting much action and a recent anti-Israel tweet caused major friction resulting in his contract being cancelled!
