Injury Updates

The medical staff, at Upton Park, must be working late-nights with the treatment tables being so full.

On the injured list are Ricardo Vaz Te, Andy Carroll, Mohamed Diame and Yossi Benayoun.

However, two occupants of that area for the majority of this season, Jack Collison and Alou Diarra, are both approaching a return to first team action and could return over / before the festive season.

Discussing the situation Big Sam is quoted in the tabloid press as having remarked,

"Diarra is close, but he hasn`t played a Premier League game yet."

"He hasn`t felt what it is like to play there and that would be difficult after a three-month lay-off."

"Collison might be close to joining in again over the next few weeks."

So there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
