'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A Newcastle Return

Once promotion had been achieved, in that dramatic Championship play-off final, in May, the squad would have been anxiously waiting for the 2012/2013 fixture list to be produced.

Once it had been, the likes of Sam Allardyce and Kevin Nolan, and later Andy Carroll, would have been looking for the first time we`d play Newcastle United.

Well that is exactly what is about to happen this weekend with all three set for an emotional return to St James Park.

Here at Vital West Ham, we`re already considering a scenario where West Ham pull-off a win and with the former Geordie hero, Andy Carroll, netting the winner.

Stranger things have happened have they not?
