Spurs Bound?

It has been previously mentioned that the season long loan deal West Ham United negotiated for the services of Andy Carroll may not be a season long loan deal.

The inference being that he could be whisked off elsewhere in January.

Whilst Brendan Rodgers, up at Andy`s parent club - Liverpool, has refuted claims he might call Andy back, there is always the remote possibility that somebody else, in the Premier League, could tempt Liverpool to sell the forward who they see as surplus to requirements.

One name seems to be beginning to feature prominently this morning with regards to an alternative destination for Carroll with that name being that of Tottenham.

It couldn`t happen could it?

I actually wouldn't mind, but i can be sure it wouldn't be 35m. Take out the fact he's English, which always seems to warp the transfer figure, he's still young, has a big presence up front and is generally a nightmare for centre backs. I don't really care for the hype, 35m will bring a huge amount of pressure on anyone's shoulders, but Rodgers clearly didn't want him. That doesn't make him a poor player, he has a lot of potential, which was starting to be realised at Newcastle. It's just that I'm not sure if he would replace ade. All in all, it's a gamble, if it was for 5m, I'd take it. If Liverpool want anything more than 10, it won't happen. If I was Andy, I'd just concentrate on west ham and making myself a thought in England set up again, and good performances for west ham would bring its own talk. Good luck to him.

Spurs have no intention of taking on this player. for one simple reason, he is rubbish. Only rubbish teams need players like this.

The old adage, dont believe everything that you read. Anyway, Spurs will be every single player in th Jan window with zero sources as confirmation. Tabloids are unreal. SonicBorg, you really do make the rest of the Spurs fans look like a bunch of *****s with stupid comments like that! He is not my fave but man is he good in the air!

not happening, learn the rules before typing up these sheep like 'follow every one elses stories' articles, he's played for 2 premier league clubs this season, he couldn't play for us until next season, january would be pointless.
