Ahead of our visit to the DW Stadium to take on a Wigan side we must fancy beating; their manager has paid Andy Carroll a huge tribute.
Roberto Martinez, a well respected manager, remarked at his press conference,
"Andy Carroll is a special player. You won`t see another player in Europe with his attributes."
A fair comment we`d suggest, however, Andy may well have the perfect opportunity to make his mark on the game with Martinez later admitting during his pre-match press conference,
"The mistake you can make in the Premier League is that you think too much about one player then someone else damages you."
So there we have it, Nolan to nick the opening goal and Carroll to sneak in on the blind side to wrap matters up!
