Nolan for England?

Nolan for England?

England caps are a treasured item but there are many, in the game, who cannot understand why Kevin Nolan has yet to appear for his country.

Nolan has been outstanding during his spells at both Newcastle United and West Ham but international honours continue to elude him.

It is something that our own Mattew Taylor has picked up on with the left footed player remarking to the media,

"Kevin Nolan is 30 and I cannot believe he has not had the chance to play for England."

"The aim of football is to put the ball in the net, regardless of how you do it. If you put his record up against the best scoring central midfielders, it stacks up very well."

"Kevin showed you are never too old. Hopefully he`ll continue scoring goals and get noticed."

Will he or does his age mean he has missed the boat?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
