Loan Spells for Youngsters
The disappointing manner in which we crashed out of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday evening could have ramifications.
With West Ham taking the opportunity to field several of their youngsters in the tie, the plan would probably have been to continue along the same lines thereby giving the youngsters the opportunity to get further first team experience.
Now, with the cup run over, some would say before it even really got started, Big Sam has hinted that some of those youngsters who played against Wigan will be loaned out to provide that much needed first team experience.
Amongst those anticipated as being destined for loan spells are the teenage trio of Rob Hall, Dan Potts and Matthias Fanimo with Big Sam remarking about their development,
"A loan is the next step so some will go on loan."
