Der Hammer!
An old favourite of ours who struggled with an injury whilst with us, could be heading back to the Premier League.
Thomas Hitzlsperger, now thirty years of age and a midfielder who has 52 international caps to his name, is training with Everton with a view to earning a contract.
But it appears that he still has a way to go with David Moyes assistant, Steve Round, remarking to the media,
"Thomas is a long way off playing, but we`ve given him the opportunity and it`s up to him now."
It would certainly be good to see 'Der Hammer` back, let`s hope it turns out well for him!
