Sam`s Noble Warning

Already, this week, we`ve touched on the delicate contract situation affecting Mark Noble.

Today, ahead of our game with Norwich City this weekend, Big Sam has spoken about the dangers of letting the situation drift and then resembling the Robert Green scenario, further warning that the grass isn`t always greener elsewhere.

Speaking to the media this is the gist of what Martin had to say,

"I hope it doesn`t get to that situation with Mark Noble and it is something that can be resolved so that he stays as a West Ham player."

"Talks have been ongoing since the end of last season and they are continuing to try to negotiate a new contract. The only reason he won`t be here is if he asks for too much."

"We had a long arduous contract negotiation with Robert Green that started on our pre-season tour to Switzerland all the way through to the very end of the last game at Wembley and couldn`t strike a deal. I hope it doesn`t get to that."

Let`s hope all those around the table doing the negotiating can reach an agreement that sees the influential Noble remain a West Ham player.
