The transfer window may be closed but clubs are still able to pick up the odd player or two who may be a free agent.
One such player is Anthony Vanden Borre.
The twenty-four year old Belgian is a free agent after leaving Genk and is able to play as either a right-back or as a right winger.
Off course, with no fee involved, if Vanden Borre is to become a Hammer then all that could be required would be to negotiate his salary.
