Hammers Grab The Headlines

Hammers Grab The Headlines

Alan Pardue stunned the Premiership by completing the signings of Argentina duo Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano from Corinthians.

The pair have both agreed permanent switches to Upton Park after the club agreed a fee with the company that own the players' transfer rights, Media Sports Investments.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have all been linked with the players, but as time ticked away on the transfer window - it was the Hammers who stole the deal.

Striker Tevez and midfielder Mascherano both played in the World Cup in the summer.

Truly unbelievable! This is the beginning of a fairy tale? You have a good manager, a world class players. I think the BIG 4 are looking over their shoulders and be wary of teams like WH.
