Expectations!
The acquisition of Andy Carroll, combined with the start of a new Premier League campaign, has seen the anticipation levels rise at Upton Park.
There`s a real buzz in the air and with two wins from three Premier League fixtures, it is the start we`ve been hoping we`d get.
Looking ahead, Sam Allardyce has given his views on how he perceives the season could pan out, commenting to the media,
"If Andy scores between 10 to 15, it is going to give us a great chance to be out of the relegation zone."
"If he gets 15 to 20, we can get into the top 10 because all we have to do is to produce enough clean sheets to make sure we get points on the board with the goals he scores."
"Kevin Nolan can feed off him as happened at Newcastle. By the time Andy had been transferred to Liverpool, he had scored 11 goals and by the time Kevin finished the season, he had 13."
