£10m for Jarvis

If West Ham are to sign Matt Jarvis it'll set the club back £10m, according to what The Daily Mail say today!

It's claimed that a £6m offer, with £3m worth of "add-ons", was put to Wolves on Friday for the winger but this offer was rejected as it didn't meet Wolves' valuation of the England international.

26-year-old Jarvis is a quality winger when he's on the top of his game but is he really worth £10m?

If you consider the fact he spend most of his season defending & still managed to outclass the likes of Downing etc (£20million) Then he's easily worth £10million! If this lad played for a better club he could become an England regular. It's either cough up, or look else where... Up The Wolves

tom8808 you hit the nail on the head - a better club! he is already at a better club all be it in the championship.

@johnwolf - haha. Very true...

So, Johnwolf, are you admitting that, as a result of a change in management, we are now a better club?

If Jarvis has any say in this transfer,why would he opt to go to West Ham? You can understand Kite's going to the Clayheads, a stable team in the Premiership, but why would Jarvo want to go and play for a team that could possibly the in the same position as Wolves were last season-constantly on the back foot. Playing for a losing side is crap!

Money - that's why.
