West Ham - Green Torture!

Football supporters can be a cruel lot and we all know that Robert Green faces a torrid time as West Ham travel the country this season.

In fact I`d suggest that he`s likely to get far more abuse than the ironic cheer the MK Dons supporters gave him when he safely collected the ball, for the first time, in the recent friendly fixture.

There are hot-beds of dark football humour out there but we don`t believe Robert Green will be too fazed over any comments related to his now infamous USA howler.

It`s a point picked up upon by Julien Faubert who is quoted in the morning press as having commented,

"Greenie knows what will probably happen in all our away games."

"But I don`t think he will care about the abuse because he is such a strong character and in training he is the same person - always happy and smiling."

"For me, Greenie is still the best goalkeeper in England."

"It was all the great saves he made last season that kept West Ham in the Premier League."

Exactly and he`ll have our 100% backing!
